Overview
Family Promise is a nationally distributed nonprofit organization that works with a network of regional and local affiliates around the country. Their goal is to provide services for families encountering homelessness. They offer a variety of programs, including shelters, stabilization, prevention, and diversion. With a large amount of incoming data through their census survey and community participation, Family Promise turned to FormAssembly to save time, eliminate paper and manual processes, and gain access to cleaner and more organized data.

Challenge
Family Promise switched to FormAssembly because of its powerful Salesforce integration. Their existing Salesforce org was already well-established, and staff wanted a better, more automated way to bring new data into Salesforce. Previously, the organization relied on paper mail (in the form of postcards) and Excel spreadsheets to maintain and update records of their affiliate network through their census survey.
To align with more modern expectations, staff members wanted to collect the data they needed online —which meant cutting out paper forms and the processing time they required.
